jbyogafit.com - February 2012 News
Has the first month of this year gone past as fast for you as it has been for me? January is a great month for setting goals for the new year. What are your goals for 2012? What do you want to accomplish this year? If it has anything to do with fitness and wellbeing, I will be more than happy to assist you.

I am very excited about February as I am taking part in Susi Hately’s therapeutic yoga teacher clinic “How To Get Unstuck”. Do you experience physical issues such as tight shoulders, a sore back or pain in the sacro-iliac joints and can’t seem to overcome those issues? Imagine your body feeling lighter, stronger, taller and completely at ease. Please stay tuned as I would like to share this new knowledge gained during this training with you. I will be incorporating it into my future exercise videos. Also, if you have a specific video request which is targeting the area that causes you problems or have questions about your specific problem area, please send an email to me at jackie@jbyogafit.com.

I have extended the popular January promotion for another month. For everyone that hasn’t had the chance to take advantage of this offer – now is your time to join me on the path to optimal fitness & wellbeing!  If you purchase a jbyogafit access pass this month, you will receive a voucher for 1-month free access which you can use for yourself or to give to someone you care about. It is never too late to start exercising and feel fantastic in your own body. Get a strong, flexible and beautifully toned body with this amazing blend of Yoga and Pilates.

Have a great day. Namaste.

Jacqueline

Why you should exercise

I am sure all of you have heard about some of the benefits that fitness can offer you. But even though we all know that it is good for us, we sometimes need to get reminded of those benefits to get us motivated to start exercising.

Here are 10 facts that will get you motivated:

1. Your body not only becomes stronger, it can also function more efficiently and develop greater endurance.

2. Exercising improves circulation which enhances the transport of nutrients and oxygen into the cells of your body.

3. It is great for weight loss. Muscle tissue increases the metabolism and an increased metabolism burns fat faster. With a good metabolism, you even burn fat while resting.

4. It also delays ageing and can even wind back the clock.

5. Being fit will not only help you to live longer, you are also more likely to experience less aches and pains later in life.

6. Exercising has been proven to improve cognitive function and can even reduce the risk of dementia as new brain cells are built in a brain region that is linked with memory and memory loss.

7. It improves mood as it boosts endorphin levels in the brain. That way it can even be used as a treatment for depression.

8. It improves energy levels and reduces fatigue.

9. It reduces the development of the major risk factors for heart disease and diabetes such as high blood pressure, high cholesterol, high blood sugar and obesity.

10. And most of all, it contributes to BETTER OVERALL WELLBEING!
